Purpose of the assignment:

Hydria is looking for an Information Security Officer in preparation for verification and certification according to the NIS2 legislation. The focus is on building governance processes and creating the necessary documentation, in close collaboration with the IT services responsible for technical implementations.

The Information Security Officer will support Hydria with:

• The development of governance processes:
• Setting up a risk-based security policy.
• Drafting and/or adapting policies.
• Documenting and optimizing processes.
• Preparation for verification:
• Resolving already identified shortcomings.
• Collaboration with IT teams:
• Aligning governance and documentation with technical implementations.

Candidate profile

• Is bilingual French/Dutch (very good knowledge of both languages).
• Has at least 10 years of experience in information security (practical and organizational).
• Holds the following certifications:
• CISM, CISSP, CISA, ISO27001 Lead Auditor or ISO27001 Lead Implementer.
• Has proven experience with:
• Disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Security in industrial environments, including OT-security.
• Performing risk analyses and working with frameworks such as ISO2700X.
• Has excellent knowledge of:
• Belgian NIS2 legislation and associated frameworks.
• Compliance requirements of Belgian frameworks (CyFun, ISO27001).
• Has demonstrable experience with:
• Audits and negotiations with suppliers (privacy and information security).
• Contacts with supervisory authorities (CCB, data protection authorities).
• Is skilled in:
• Risk management and associated frameworks.
• Monitoring, management, and reporting of data breaches and incidents in accordance with legal requirements.
• Drafting procedures and policies.
• Possesses strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Has experience in the sectors in which Hydria is active.
