We are looking for an Information System Security Manager to join, as a consultant, a public organization based in Namur.

Duration: until the end of 2025, at a rate of 2 to 3 days/week
Location: Namur
Status: Freelance

Your role

• Define and implement the information system security policy: prevention, protection, detection, resilience, remediation.
• Advise and assist the Head of IT Infrastructure Service and the IT team.
• Implement solutions, tools, and processes ensuring data protection and security levels.
• Conduct periodic audits, identify risks, and propose action plans.
• Lead security tool deployment projects and ensure their follow-up.
• Actively participate in incident management and in improving crisis management capabilities.

Profile sought

• Master’s degree in cybersecurity (or Bachelor’s degree in computer science with equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in information system security.
• Good knowledge of French (mandatory) and English.
• Mastery of cybersecurity fundamentals, associated technologies, and vulnerable environments.
• Familiarity with governance, standards, and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2, …).
• Team spirit, analytical skills, organizational sense, and curiosity.
