IT Operations Architect
Context
As part of the evolution of our IT environments and the strengthening of security, we are seeking an Operational IT Architect responsible for improving the organizational structure, architecture documentation, and operational governance, while integrating security requirements at the information system level.
Mission Objectives
1. Improvement of Operations / Infrastructure organization and processes
- Strengthen governance and operational processes.
- Improve incident management and vulnerability management processes.
- Clarify and structure roles and responsibilities within the LETEC IT management.
2. Documentation and structuring of technical and application architecture
- Centralize, formalize, and update architecture documentation in collaboration with the Operations teams (Infrastructure, Virtualization, Networks, Applications).
- Integrate cross-cutting requirements (performance, resilience, security) into the architecture models.
- Ensure consistency between the different layers of the information system.
3. Control and visibility over IS assets
- Contribute to improving the inventory of IT/OT assets.
- Extend visibility to satellite sites and associated systems.
- Identify and document technical zones and architecture segments.
4. Contribution to IS evolution projects
- Draft project sheets for technical evolutions related to IT infrastructures and services.
- Participate in the prioritization of projects according to operational needs, architecture standards, and security/compliance requirements.
- Support teams in implementing architecture best practices.
Profile sought
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, with experience in IT architecture, infrastructure, or management of technical projects.
- Very good understanding of operational IT environments (systems, networks, identities, endpoints, cloud, monitoring).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory frameworks (including NIS2).
- Ability to structure, plan, and coordinate cross-functional actions in a complex environment.
- Analytical, structured, and results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with both technical teams and decision-makers.
Remarks
- The candidate must possess the minimum required skills and experience (roles/skills).
- The candidate must have perfect command of the French language, both spoken and written.
- The mission will be carried out mainly on site in Namur on a full-time basis.
- The candidate must be flexible and may need to travel to our various business units located in Wallonia to meet with certain departments.
- Consultancy days are 8 hours.
- Two fixed teleworking days are possible.
- Monday cannot be worked from home, presence on site is required.

Except in agreement with the team manager, working hours must correspond to those of internal employees, namely:

The working day must begin between 7:30 am and 9:00 am, lunch break must be taken between 11:45 am and 2:00 pm, and the end of the day must be between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
- Therefore, the presence windows of 9:00 am to 11:45 am and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm must be respected.
