IT Project Manager - Infrastructure / Data Centre / ISO / NIS2

NTT DATA is currently looking for an IT Project Manager for a client in Namur.

This role can be performed in a hybrid way of working between the office and remote.

Your role:

The contract for the organisation´s IT infrastructure in a data centre will expire in December 2026. A public procurement process must be launched for its renewal. This process includes selecting a future hosting provider, migrating to the "new" data center, and executing the contract.

The objective is to optimize the technical quality and cost of the future contract, ensure a secure migration to a potential new provider, and guarantee service continuity.

The IT Project Manager's role is part of a public procurement project managed by a Public Procurement Project Manager.

Mission Objective:

  • To plan and coordinate the project's actions.
  • The mission includes four phases:

  • Preparation of the Specifications Document

  • Understand the current architecture and complete the documentation base.

  • Consolidate the inventory of services and assets.
  • Analyze future needs and write the technical clauses and evaluation criteria, relying on internal IT teams and current providers.

These clauses will ensure that the quality of the migration projects proposed by candidates aligns with OTW's service availability constraints. They will also ensure that the management/reporting processes for the hosted infrastructure align with these constraints, which will be reflected in the evaluation criteria of the specifications.

  1. Publication of the Specifications and Response to Technical Questions

  2. Support and follow-up on Q&A meetings.

  3. Contract Award

  4. Analyze the received technical offers and participate in selection committees under the responsibility of the "IT Infrastructure" department.

  5. Monitoring the Migration Execution

  6. Validate the migration strategy, coordinate internal teams, manage risks, monitor the project and communication, and ensure operational autonomy after the migration.

Profile:

  • You hold a degree in civil engineering or a master's in computer science with proven experience in IT infrastructure management (Data Center / Network / Telecommunications) and have 5 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure projects. Alternatively, you hold a bachelor's degree in computer science and can demonstrate equivalent experience.
