Belnet is looking for an IT roll-out Project Manager. The projects will mainly be within the context of FedMAN and FedWAN.

Belnet manages the FedMAN (Federal Metropolitan Area Network), specifically the network that connects various federal public services to each other and to the internet in the Brussels region with broadband. In addition, Belnet offers FedWAN (Wide Area Network) services to connect decentralized locations as well.

• You lead one or more projects under the supervision of the department head. You do this based on the Belnet project management methodology, which is based on the main principles of the PRINCE2 framework.

• Your projects will focus on rolling out infrastructure at Belnet's clients, in particular the federal public services. Your projects will therefore be both technical and customer- and infrastructure-oriented in nature. Within your role, you will be responsible for executing projects within a predefined framework.

• You possess the necessary project-technical skills such as drawing up a planning, a budget, following up on action points and issues, and identifying risks.

• You work together with the project team to execute the projects successfully. Together with the Project Management Office, you also take into account dependencies with other projects.

• You report on the progress of your project(s) and also mention any potential risks and possible escalations.

This is a mission with a duration of 6 - 12 months (terminable monthly).
