IT support technician FOD Sociale Zekerheid

Context:

As an IT support technician, you will work full-time at the ICT service of the FPS Social Security – within the "Digital Workplace" team. The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) management service provides the FPS with professional solutions to support the processes. The ICT service consists of about 40 employees and ensures the proper functioning, security, and continuity of the ICT processes.

The FPS Social Security, in collaboration with the institutions, is responsible for the social security policy, the interpretation of its regulations, and the granting of allowances to persons with disabilities.

In the coming months, we will upgrade all PCs (+- 1000) of the FPS Social Security and cabinets. About 1/3 of these are older models that we will replace during this period. In addition, we also need to replace colleagues who are on holiday.

This is a temporary full-time replacement where the workplace is the headquarters of FPS Social Security (fully onsite): Kruidtuinlaan 50 1000 Brussels

Assignment Description:

  • Reinstallation of PCs using Intune
  • Resolving user issues with PCs, printers, smartphones
  • Registration and follow-up of incidents in Service Now

Required technical knowledge:

  • You have thorough ICT technical knowledge: 3 years
  • You have good knowledge of Windows 11 and Office 365: 3 years
  • You can diagnose a hardware or software problem remotely: 3 years
  • You can determine the resources needed to solve problems and possibly adjust the solution (on-site maintenance, call in a specialized technician, etc.): 3 years
  • You can determine interventions based on information from the helpdesk, system notifications, etc.: 3 years
  • You can assemble parts of IT or office equipment: 1 year
  • You can install, configure, and execute functional tests on workstations: 1 year
  • You can maintain and configure equipment and devices: 1 year
  • You keep records of the nature of the malfunction, the timing, the solution, and the course of the work, and communicate this to the relevant parties (helpdesk, end users, etc.): 3 years
  • You can train key users in the use of ICT equipment provided by the FPS: 1 year
  • You have knowledge of Intune: 3 years

Diploma requirements: at least secondary education (with a preference for higher education in an ICT field)
