To strengthen the ICT team, we are currently looking for a Project Manager ITSM Implementation
THE POSITION
As ITSM Project Manager, you are responsible for the successful setup, improvement, and implementation of IT Service Management processes within the ICT organization. You lead the ITSM project from start to delivery and act as a link between IVT, business, and external suppliers. In doing so, you ensure that processes align with strategic objectives and best practices such as ITIL.
Areas of responsibility and tasks:
- You lead and coordinate the ITSM project.
- You implement and optimize the ITSM processes according to ITIL guidelines.
- Together with internal stakeholders, you prepare the project proposal. This project proposal defines the expected scope, approach, budget, planning, and risks. Once a project proposal is approved, you refine the project definition. After that, you draw up the project plan, which covers all tasks to successfully complete the project.
- You communicate intensively with the project team, any external partners, and project sponsors. You report the progress of your projects to the Project Management Office and other stakeholders.
- You guide the implementation of the ITSM tool.
- In consultation with the analyst, you identify the customer needs specific to the project.
- You are responsible for the daily management of the ITSM project. You maintain the project schedules and prepare the required project lifecycle documents.
Knowledge and experience:
- Experience as a project manager for the implementation of ITSM.
- Experience with configuring ITSM tools and setting up service processes in ITSM tools.
- Project management and methodologies, including Agile methodologies.
- Demonstrable knowledge of ITILv3 (incident management, asset management, service catalog, etc.)
