For the ALINE project, we are urgently looking for a Java Developer (frontend and backend) for a full-time mission of several years in a team of about 8 people. In the ALINE project, an existing application (GOTOT-IN) will be completely redeveloped using modern technologies.

GOTOT-IN is a database for centralizing all information regarding certificates of applicable legislation for individuals subject to foreign social security who are active in Belgian territory. This application is also the tool for handling requests for applicable legislation coming from foreign institutions within the framework of the European EESSI framework (Electronic Exchange of Social Security Information).

As a Java Developer, you will be part of a dynamic team organized in an Agile / Scrum way. You will participate in the development of new applications based on existing development standards and frameworks. Based on the functional analysis documents or JIRA tickets, prepared by the analysts and the technical guidelines of the architects, you are responsible for the development, testing, and documentation of the projects or changes.

You have obtained a master's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science and have knowledge of the following technologies:

• Languages: NL – FR – EN (A good understanding of NL is a must)

You can work from home 3 to 4 days a week on the condition that good performance can be demonstrated every sprint. At least 1 day per week, you are expected to work with the team in Ghent.
