Junior / Medior AI Engineer

About the Role

Securex is expanding its data and AI capabilities, leveraging Microsoft Fabric and the Microsoft AI ecosystem to deliver impactful business use cases. We are looking for a proactive and self-driven AI Engineer with a solid foundation in AI development using Microsoft technologies, ready to take ownership of exploring and implementing solutions in a fast-evolving environment.

This is not a typical role where you will be trained by senior AI engineers — instead, you will be the one exploring possibilities, building solutions, and guiding us in applying AI best practices. You will work closely with our data engineering and business teams to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions, while continuously expanding your own expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently research, design, and implement AI solutions using Microsoft AI services (Azure AI, Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, etc.).
  • Integrate AI models into the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem and data pipelines.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts and translate them into scalable, production-ready solutions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities where AI can add value to the business.
  • Stay ahead of emerging Microsoft AI capabilities and share insights with the team.
  • Document your work and create reusable frameworks or components for future use cases.

About You

  • Solid initial experience in AI development, ideally with Microsoft AI services.
  • Proficient in Python and comfortable working with data engineering workflows.
  • Experience or interest in Microsoft Fabric.
  • Highly self-motivated, curious, and able to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to turn abstract ideas into concrete solutions.
  • Confident communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
