ABOUT US

Our organization is active in the social profit sector, providing support to organizations working with people with disabilities (including through VAPH funding). We want to modernize our current way of reporting. For this, we intend to use Power BI.

ABOUT THE POSITION

At present, we have about 50 reports, each of which is built based on fixed SQL queries via Action Grids and Action Forms within Plant an App. This approach offers limited flexibility: changes always require manual modifications to the underlying queries, which limits the efficiency of reporting.

The application is used both internally and by external organizations as a tool to manage clients, create invoices, manage personnel and their contracts, and set up integrations between this application and others via services. There are differences in business logic and workflows for each organization, which are developed within the system and database.

TASK PACKAGE

The intention is that all reporting for all these organizations will run via Power BI, and that specific dashboard use cases will be developed in consultation with the internal development team and business stakeholders.

• Design and build Power BI reports and dashboards with a focus on user-friendliness and visual consistency.
• Translate business requirements into data visualizations that support insight and decision-making.
• Optimize visuals for performance and clarity.
• Ensure data quality & governance.

Analytical thinking and eagerness to learn are important.

YOUR PROFILE

Some initial experience with:

• Creating Power BI reports and optimizing the BI platform.
• Experience with analyzing data and reporting in Power BI.

Strong in internal & external communication.

Analytical.

A good knowledge of Dutch or English is required.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

The duration is estimated at 6 months and the contract can be extended if necessary.

There is no mileage allowance; costs for necessary travel are included in the offered rate.
