ETNIC (Entreprise pour les Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication) is the IT operator of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles. As a public interest organization, ETNIC’s mission is to design, develop, maintain, and evolve information systems and technological infrastructures serving the administrations and institutions of the FWB.

A central player in the digital transformation of the Belgian French-speaking public sector, ETNIC is active in various fields such as:

• IT infrastructure management (networks, security, data centers, cloud)
• Development of custom business applications
• Support for digital projects (functional analysis, UX/UI, project management)
• Cybersecurity and data protection
• User support and training

ETNIC is looking to engage several testers to strengthen its team.

Expected Technical Skills

• Mastery of manual functional testing techniques (regression, exploratory, etc.)
• Identify and write test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
• Prepare the execution of test cases (including preparation of initial conditions: test data, etc.)
• Execute these test cases manually
• Analyze and document test results, record bugs, defects, and other issues
• Classify bugs, follow up on bug resolution, and provide bug reporting
• Provide support in resolving identified errors in collaboration with various teams (business, functional, and development)
• Validate corrections with the business and communicate the results

• Supervise and lead the collaborators necessary for the successful completion of the testing tasks

• Solid knowledge of Agile principles (Scrum, Kanban)

• Mandatory experience with the following tools:

• defect management: Mantis

• test management: Xqual

• automation with Agilitest

• Basic understanding of test environments and deployment processes with gitlab & docker

• Familiarity with databases and SQL queries
