NTT DATA is currently looking for an IT Functional Analyst for a public agency in Brussels.

Your role:

The functional analyst is responsible for analysing the business processes. They are involved in the early stages of the project, providing a detailed description of the current and future situation of the process. He or she leads workshops, organises and manages the meetings needed to gather the information and draft the deliverables required to define the project, in compliance with the standards and methodology in place.

Job responsibilities

• Organise meetings and workshops to understand and map operational processes.
• Review the processes to determine if they meet internal needs.
• Prepare the documents needed to define the process so that they can be used directly by the analysts to implement the solution.
• Create detailed functional documents and effectively communicate requirements and changes to the team. Ensure that the team of analysts has a clear understanding of the project's needs.
• During the course of the project, ensure that the solution implemented corresponds to the solution described in consultation with the business.
• Help to implement agile practices, facilitate daily stand-ups and help to eliminate obstacles that could slow down the team.
• The Lead Analyst checks that the work of the analysts on the project is consistent with standards. He/she ensures that the methods and tools are correctly used and respected.
• Implement and plan analysis sprints to improve project progress.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by gathering feedback and adjusting processes and solutions accordingly.
