The Mainframe System Analyst will have the following mission:

• Work with the business stakeholders to translate the business needs for various small and medium business requests into requirements for IT implementation team.
• Understand the IT application landscape to well describe the requirements for the application (frontend integrating with different backend systems). Understanding how the different application components are interconnected is key to deliver a correct analysis/requirement.
• Prepare/execute tests activities to validate the team's deliverables.
• Able to communicate clearly and interact with team members (Business PO, colleague business analysts, architect, backend developers) in the Agile team you will working in.

Context/Requirements:

• At least 5 years experience in insurance business analysis
• At least 5 years experience in a mainframe / IMS / Cobol / DB2 environment
• Affinity with application architecture, understanding how components are connected together
• Structured mindset, delivering analysis that are precise and correct
• Communication in the team are mainly in French (with business stakeholders, PO, internal colleagues) and in English with offshore external providers.
