Position:

As Manager Electricity within the Project Management directorate, you provide direction and coach a team of employees to achieve the objectives.

You ensure the implementation of policy within the organization and your team.

• You are responsible for coaching, motivating, and developing a team (of 10 to 15 project leads and draftsmen/designers) so that your employees function optimally and the objectives are achieved.
• You anticipate technological developments, changing laws and regulations (in terms of execution), and ensure the implementation of policy within the organization and your team.
• You are responsible for the efficient organization of all activities within your team, you maintain oversight, and improve where necessary.
• You ensure that within your group there is sufficient competence and technical expertise, that it is structured and further developed to realize assignments qualitatively, according to applicable legislation, safety regulations, and internal agreements.
• You consult and work intensively with fellow managers and stakeholders with the goal of aligning processes, departments, and services. In doing so, you are mindful of the interests of all parties involved and succeed in reconciling those interests to achieve the agreed result.
• You ensure correct information transfer to your team and the organization.
• You provide clear, open communication and reporting, both internally and externally, so that the stakeholders are always in possession of the necessary information.

Profile:

The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:

• You hold a Master's degree in a technical field with 10 years of experience or equivalent through sufficiently extensive and relevant experience.
• You have a strong interest in people management and demonstrable abilities in leading and coaching employees.
• Good knowledge of electricity.
• You can think out-of-the-box and conceptually.
• You are result-oriented.
• You have good organizational skills and always maintain a helicopter view.
• You are known as a communicative, enthusiastic, and dynamic person.
• You are a bridge builder—both internally and externally—and capable of creating and maintaining solid partnerships.
• You are customer-oriented and think in terms of solutions.
