ABOUT THE POSITION:
As manager office design, furniture and relocation, you will contribute to our relocation projects and lead our office relocations from start to finish. On the one hand, within the project team, you will monitor the proper execution of the office design as well as the correct delivery and installation of the furniture pieces. On the other hand, you are the linchpin in our project team, responsible for the smooth progress of the relocations. As manager office design, furniture and relocation, you support the project leaders in both the study and execution phase. Effective communication with clients and stakeholders is essential in this role.
You are expected to draw up detailed relocation plans and coordinate moves from the old to the new building. To ensure this runs efficiently, you will need to label all furniture with a QR code during the study phase, and before the move, you will label all items to be moved with a relocation sticker. For large-scale projects, you will carry out both tasks by managing an external company. Of course, you are also responsible for quality control upon delivery and installation of both the items to be moved and the newly purchased furniture. As you walk through the office, you should proactively carry out small checks: were the correct materials installed, are the cables hung correctly? Are the walls properly installed? Is the furniture undamaged? You also seamlessly align the relocation planning with the schedule of the office design works.
