Medior Exstream Developer

Project Context:

We are looking for an experienced Medior Developer (3-5 years) in OpenText Exstream to join our teams as part of a CCM project. The selected candidate will complement a team of 3 OpenText Exstream developers working on template development and on integrating solutions within our existing infrastructure. This position requires immediate onboarding, with an assignment running until the end of 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding client requirements and finalizing the input file structure.
  • Mastery of different output formats (AFP, PDF, HTML5, LIVE, Empower).
  • Design of templates in the 3 languages FR/NL and DE.
  • Creation of unit test cases for unit/integration testing and UAT.
  • Efficient execution of quality assurance (QA).
  • Adherence to best practices in development and unit testing (agile approach).
  • Effective review of daily deliverables.
  • Participation in project status meetings with the team.

Required technical skills:

  • Complete experience with the document lifecycle and in-depth knowledge of OpenText Exstream.
  • Experience with OpenText Exstream Live, Empower, and Content Author.
  • Mastery of OpenText Exstream, Command Center, Communication Builder, Communication Server, OTDS, WorkShop, StoryBoard, ReTouch, Supervisor.
  • Programming or scripting skills (Java, shell script, Cobol, .net).
  • Excellent debugging and error resolution skills.

Experience:

The candidate must have 3 to 5 years of experience in the field, with proven expertise in Exstream Web applications (Workshop; Content Author, etc.) and Communication Builder, which are essential for our project.
