We are looking for a medior software developer with a strong .NET foundation, experience in Azure and Angular, who can independently build production software and wants to grow further in a modern cloud and DevOps environment.

As a .NET developer you will be part of a young and dynamic development team responsible for supporting and customizing OV Web, a web application that manages all processes and assets related to public lighting.
In addition to OV Web, the development team manages several other applications for which both front- and back-end development takes place.

Responsibilities / Tasks

• you implement new functionalities in the existing OV Web code in consultation with the product owner and the team
• you are responsible for supporting & customizing web applications, both within project, maintenance, and incident operations
• you analyze incoming incidents together with the functional analyst and independently develop solutions
• you work with the team on planning, scope, effort estimates, and monitoring of releases
• you contribute to the functional design of the solution
• you work on the technical design and development of the solution
• you are able to translate problems into concrete solutions
• you write tests (unit tests) and document your developments
• you actively contribute to knowledge retention and transfer to your colleagues
• you take development guidelines (best practices) and internal IT standards into account
• you are responsible for quality assurance within the team, in consultation with the quality manager within the ICT Development Factories, through design & code reviews
• you communicate with the various stakeholders including the service desk, project managers, infrastructure manager, and hierarchy
• you meticulously apply the procedures within the change and release management process
• you provide technical advice to the analyst or designer

As a developer, you will join the OV team working on innovative public lighting solutions; the team works in an Agile manner. Organizationally, you will join ICT Development Factories, which is responsible for all .NET developers within Fluvius.

The world is changing faster and faster. This is also true in the outdoor lighting landscape (= public, site, architectural, monument, ... lighting). Connected lighting, citizen participation, CO2 savings, sustainability, smart cities, chain collaboration, ... are just a few examples of evolutions that need to be translated into new and/or modified products for our customers.
