1. Presentation of ETNIC

ETNIC (Entreprise pour les Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication) is the IT operator of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles. As a public interest organization, ETNIC’s mission is to design, develop, maintain, and evolve information systems and technological infrastructures serving the administrations and institutions of the FWB.

2. Mission

ETNIC manages, among other things, the network for all its beneficiaries spread over approximately 180 sites. Within the Telecom competence center, the “network” team ensures the proper physical and logical functioning of the network infrastructure.

The medior network engineer will be integrated into the team and contribute to daily support. They will participate in troubleshooting, optimization, improvement, and implementation of Cisco network solutions. They will also assist senior network engineers in managing and executing projects. They will also work on enterprise environments covering routing/switching, WiFi, Catalyst Center, ACI, ISE, etc.
