Vacancy: System Engineer SQL – Aquafin

Aquafin is looking for an experienced System Engineer SQL to strengthen our Digital Infrastructure team. As part of our digital transformation and preparation for NIS2-compliance, we are seeking someone dedicated to migrating databases to higher SQL versions and updating SQL with the latest service packs.

What will you do?

• Migrate databases to higher versions of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Update Microsoft SQL Server with the latest service packs.
• Collaborate and coordinate with infra teams and stakeholders regarding the upgrades.
• Document technical implementations and all related procedures.
• Develop disaster recovery procedures.
• Develop backup plans.

Profile

• At least 3 years of experience as a System Engineer.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL Server.
• Creating and/or executing a test plan after migration.
• Knowledge of Windows Server & monitoring.
• Project-based and systematic approach.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Location & availability

You will work 3 days per week at the office in Aartselaar, with flexible work options for the remaining days.
