RSVZ is a dynamic organization where more than 150 people work within the IT department. RSVZ is a bilingual environment, with both Dutch-speaking and French-speaking stakeholders. Within IT (and also within the Architecture team), agile methodology (scrum) is used. The development teams are multidisciplinary. The Enterprise Architecture Team consists of 4 people and is looking for a Senior .NET Application Architect to expand existing capacity. Currently, RSVZ is evolving towards a microservices architecture.

Role and Main Responsibilities

As Application Architect, you ensure that the architecture of the IT system and landscape continues to evolve. You help and support the development teams to deliver quality according to the objectives of the customer and product management. You make the architectural vision understandable and applicable for the teams. You clarify the value and operation of models, standards, and patterns, and you support their implementation.

Specifically, you define the application and integration architecture for a complete rewrite of an important business application in a Cloud-based environment.

Required Experience and Competencies

• Level: senior
• Master's degree or equivalent through experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a hands-on Application Architect
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an Agile architecture environment (SAFE – Scaled Agile Framework)
• Business knowledge of the social status of the self-employed is an advantage

Technical

• Experience as application architect in a .NET environment with microservices (10 years)
• Setup and use of Azure Cloud computing services, gRPC, Dapr, Azure SQL (5 years)
• Setup and use of container solutions (e.g. ACA, AKS) (3 years)
• NServiceBus (2 years)
• Knowledge and use of architecture frameworks and tooling (Domain driven design, event-based architecture, Sparx EA, DrawIO, …)
• Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL is an advantage

National Languages

Work Regime

Hybrid, 2 days at the office in Brussels and 3 days teleworking
