We are looking for a medior software developer with a strong .NET foundation, experience in Azure and Angular, who can independently build production software and wants to grow in a modern cloud and DevOps environment.

As a .NET developer, you will be part of a young and dynamic development team responsible for supporting and adapting OV Web, a web application that manages all processes and assets related to public lighting.
In addition to OV Web, the development team also manages several other applications for which both front- and backend development takes place.

Responsibilities / Tasks

• you implement new functionalities in the existing OV Web code in consultation with the product owner and the team
• you are responsible for supporting & adapting web applications, both within project, maintenance, and incident operations
• you analyze incoming incidents together with the functional analyst and independently work out solutions
• you collaborate with the team on planning, scope, workload estimations, and release follow-up
• you contribute to the functional design of the solution
• you work on the technical design and development of the solution
• you are able to translate problems into concrete solutions
• you write tests (unit tests) and document your developments
• you actively contribute to knowledge retention and knowledge transfer to your colleagues
• you take into account development guidelines (best practices) and internal IT standards
• you are responsible for quality assurance within the team, in consultation with the quality manager within ICT Development Factories, through design & code reviews
• you communicate with the various stakeholders including the service desk, project managers, infrastructure manager, and the hierarchy
• you meticulously apply working methods in the context of the change and release management process
• you provide technical advice to the analyst or designer
• you ensure correct evaluations of the technical feasibility of requests

Context/Requirements

As a developer, you will join the OV team working on innovative public lighting solutions; the team works in an Agile manner. Organizationally, you will be part of ICT Development Factories, which is responsible for all .NET developers within Fluvius.

The world is changing faster and faster. This is also the case in the outdoor lighting landscape (public, area, architectural, monument, ... lighting). Connected lighting, citizen participation, CO2 savings, sustainability, smart cities, chain collaboration, ... are just a few examples of evolutions that need to be translated into new and/or modified products for our customers.
