Assignment context:

RSVZ is a dynamic organization where more than 150 people work within the Informatica department. The organizational culture is informal. RSVZ is a bilingual environment with French-speaking and Dutch-speaking colleagues and stakeholders. We are currently looking for an experienced .NET Integration Developer to expand team Black (consisting of 12 people, including 2 Integration Developers). Team Black is a “platform” team that works transversally within Informatica and provides technical support to the development teams. The team works according to the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology to deliver high-quality and scalable applications.

The current focus of the team is on making the Azure Cloud platform usable for other development teams.

Role:

The experienced .NET Integration Developer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of a robust and scalable integration platform in an Azure environment. This person works closely with other IT department employees (developers, testers, product owners, and scrum masters) to deliver functionalities iteratively and incrementally.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, development, and maintenance of the integration platform and reusable .NET components using C# and Azure API Management.
• Analyzing and resolving technical issues. You are responsible for solving bugs and providing technical support to less experienced colleagues both within and outside your development team.
• Contact with external parties, including other social security institutions in the context of connectivity.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining reusable Azure DevOps CI/CD components using C#, Powershell, YAML pipelines, and Bicep files.
• Collaborating with cross-functional, agile teams in a SAFe environment: you work closely with other developers, testers, architects, product owner, and scrum masters to deliver supporting tooling iteratively and incrementally.
• Participating in PI Planning and other Agile ceremonies.
• Quality assurance and code reviews: you are responsible for performing code reviews and ensuring the quality of the code through unit tests, integration tests, and other QA methods.
• Contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within and outside the team. You prepare the technical documentation and review documentation created by less experienced colleagues.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring less experienced team members.
• Continuously improving development processes and software quality. In doing so, you keep track of trends and evolutions concerning technologies and methodologies in your domain.
• Automation and continuous integration by setting up pipelines, unit tests to ensure a stable and functional development, test, and production environment.

Required experience and competencies:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Informatics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• 5 years of experience working with Azure.
• 5 years of experience working according to Agile/Scrum.
