Network and Telephony Administrator
We are looking for a network administrator with knowledge in telephony and contact center or willing to acquire them, to strengthen the network and telephony team.
The network and telephony team is responsible for the implementation, management, support, and improvement of Actiris' network and telephony infrastructure.
Specifically, you may be responsible for the following tasks:
- Monitoring, management, and oversight of the network
- Replacement, addition, monitoring, and maintenance of network infrastructure components (switch, router, proxy appliance, wifi appliance, FW, …)
- Management, implementation, and maintenance of network security equipment (Firewall, Web application firewall, email secure gateway, …)
- Implementation of network links between different sites
- Setup and configuration of network equipment according to plans provided by the network architecture team
- Management, implementation, and maintenance of network monitoring tools for capacity management and traffic evolution on the network
- Support to various ICT teams in the context of incident management (level 2 and 3 support)
- Proposals for improvements to network architecture and security
- Daily management of IP telephony
- Participation in the deployment of new contact centers to improve service operations
- Occasionally and on an ad hoc basis, participation in minor network cabling
Additionally, in order to participate in the automation of tasks, you have a good knowledge of automation principles, infrastructure provisioning tools, as well as scripting and automation languages.
The sought technical skills are:
- Ethernet, TCP/IP
- Wifi: Cisco 5500 and C9800 controllers
- Management of Nexus routers from the 9000 series
- C9200 switches, etc.
- Fortigate 70F, and 600E firewalls. Management of architecture with multi-virtual domains
- Security rules in a Windows environment
- DNS, VLAN, Proxy, VPN SSL, Cisco UCCM and UCCX, WLC, NAC, HSRP, LACP
- Minor network cabling
Knowledge in IP telephony and CISCO contact center is an asset.
It is imperative to have a good understanding of network architecture as a whole, and to be proactive in proposing improvements to enhance its reliability and resilience.
As the team is French-speaking, it is required that the consultant is able to understand and express themselves in French.
The first assignment will take place from 18/05/2026 until 31/08/2026 and may be renewed quarterly during 2026.
