The Oracle Database Administrator plays a key role in the management, optimization, and development of the FOD's Oracle database landscape. He/she actively contributes to the performance, security, availability, and automation of our database environment and participates in technological monitoring.

General tasks and responsibilities:

• Responsible for the management, support, and optimization of Oracle databases (installation, configuration, update, backup, recovery, tuning, security) according to ICT standards

• Participate in defining and implementing automation solutions for database management using Ansible and scripts (Bash, Python, Shell, etc.)

• Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks (provisioning, patching, monitoring)

• Guarantee the availability, performance, and security of production and test environments

• Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and security teams to implement DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices

• Participate in projects for the migration, modernization, and optimization of database architectures

• Stay up to date with technological developments regarding new Oracle versions and automation solutions
