SPW Digital, a pillar of the digital transformation of the Walloon administration, holds a strategic position in the modernization of public service in Wallonia and in its daily IT management.

Its missions are:

Digital transformation: supporting the digitalization of public services to improve the efficiency and accessibility of services for citizens and businesses.

Development and maintenance of applications: developing applications and ensuring their optimal maintenance

IT security and data protection: guaranteeing the security of systems and data

Information systems management

Technological innovation: promoting the integration of new technologies

Supporting administrations via tools, training, and advice.

Centralization of digital procurement

And this for all SPW sectors, ranging from Agriculture to Finance, including Roads and Local Authorities.

  • The Regional Policy Declaration, the contract of trust and performance, the strategic and operational objectives of SPW and each Directorate are guides for our priorities.

In order to ensure the continuity of these services, it is crucial to coordinate the request process for all projects with an IT component at SPW. This is to meet the business IT needs of the entire SPW. We are therefore looking for a profile capable of carrying out the activities listed below:

The main activities and deliverables are:

  • Active participation in various PMO activities
  • Evaluation and validation with ICT experts
  • Preparation of presentations and their delivery to the Validation Committee
  • Monitoring of the project portfolio
  • Management of interdependencies between projects
  • Promotion of best practices in project management and being their guarantor
  • Training and coaching users in methodology and tools
  • Development of reporting and tools related to the system in place
  • Development of new document templates
  • Operational support for users
  • Assistance in project prioritization and strategic support
  • Adequate communication at different levels of the organization
  • Support to management for the evolution of the team and internal processes

The desired profile is that of a project portfolio manager (PMO) with excellent knowledge in portfolio, program, and project management. Knowledge of Planisware is an asset as the management of Plans, Programs, Portfolios, and Projects at SPW is based on this tool.

He/she has excellent written and verbal communication skills and is able to interact both with operational technical teams and business stakeholders.

Evaluation method
