Aquafin manages more than 325 wastewater treatment plants, nearly 2025 wastewater pumping stations, and more than 7085 km of sewers in Flanders. As a process technician in water treatment, you and your colleagues strive for the optimal operation of our treatment infrastructure, so that the water quality in our Flemish streams and rivers continues to improve.

Your assignment includes:

• Maintenance and management of water treatment installations and pumping stations in the Sint-Niklaas / Beveren region.
• Together with your team, you ensure that the treatment process runs optimally, from electrical and mechanical checks to taking and analyzing water samples.
• Troubleshooting in case of malfunctions such as clogged pumps and adjusting the treatment process if necessary.
• A bit of lab work, administration, and digital tasks make the job varied and interesting.
• Solid electrical knowledge in industrial electricity and PLC control is a requirement.

This assignment is to strengthen the Sint-Niklaas/Lokeren team; the job involves both working on-site and being mobile in the surrounding region.
