Program Manager – ERP Finance

The ERP Finance Program Manager oversees the implementation, evolution, and governance of the ERP system in its financial dimension. They ensure alignment between business needs (accounting, management control, treasury), the specifications, and the deployed technical solutions, while guaranteeing program coherence across its various phases and entities. They report to the project stakeholders: Chief Financial Officer, General Director / Inspector General, IT Director.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the ERP program end-to-end: scoping, planning, budget monitoring, and reporting to stakeholders

• Coordinate project teams (finance functional, IT, integrators, vendors) and arbitrate priorities

• Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations while ensuring program continuity

• Guarantee that deliverables comply with regulatory requirements, specifications, and financial standards (IFRS, closing, consolidation)

• Support change management for finance users and management

Profile Sought

• Master’s degree in finance, business school, or engineering, with solid experience (minimum 15 years) in IS program management in a financial environment.

• Proficiency with a major ERP (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

• Excellent communication skills, strong organizational sense, and natural leadership.

• Significant experience in the public sector, specifically in a large city.

• In-depth and detailed knowledge of the accounting (expenditure / revenue / budget) of a large city subject to municipal accounting under Belgian legislation.
