ETNIC (Entreprise pour les Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication) is the IT operator of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles. As a public interest organization, ETNIC’s mission is to design, develop, maintain, and evolve information systems and technological infrastructures serving the administrations and institutions of the FWB.

A central player in the digital transformation of the French-speaking Belgian public sector, ETNIC operates in various fields such as:

Sought role: Senior Project Manager (CdP)

The Project Manager (CdP): manages the specific activities of a project; a Project Manager can manage several projects within the same program/portfolio or cross program/portfolio; the Project Manager is responsible for the ‘day-to-day’ activities within the project; he/she exchanges necessary information with Program and Portfolio, etc.; the Project Manager must be able to act autonomously in managing the project.

Your mission

As a Senior Project Manager, you ensure complete management of the lifecycle of cross-functional IT projects for our various clients within the MFWB. You are comfortable defining the structure and development of projects (clarification of client requests, impact analysis, approach plan (scenarios, timelines, budget, ...)), and you are familiar with the Prince2 project management methodology.

You manage and oversee the execution of projects, ensuring compliance with schedules, budget, and required quality.

You stimulate, coordinate, motivate, and support the team members involved in the projects, and you may also be required to manage programs using the MSP methodology.

Client contact is also very important in this role (negotiation, communication, ...). You are used to negotiating with high-level managers (executive level) at the client and within your own organization.

Profile

You want to join a dynamic team and contribute to the realization of innovative and important projects for society. You have significant professional experience in IT project management (ideally based on Prince2). You have worked in an Agile environment and are familiar with IT processes both at the development and infrastructure level.

Your excellent communication skills, negotiation abilities, and coaching talents are your main assets. Methodical, organized, you are able to set priorities and coordinate the various stakeholders involved in a project.

A minimum of 2 years of experience with entities of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles is an asset.
