Project Manager Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead projects from launch to closure, ensuring objectives, deadlines, costs, and quality are met.
• Define the scope, objectives, deliverables, and project schedule in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain the project plan as well as the various associated plans (resources, risks, communication, quality).
• Monitor the progress of work and coordinate the actions necessary for the proper execution of the project.
• Ensure the alignment of the project with business needs and organizational priorities.

Stakeholder Management

• Gather, analyze, and formalize user and business requirements.
• Ensure regular communication with sponsors, clients, business teams, and technical teams.
• Organize and lead project meetings, steering committees, and working sessions.
• Facilitate decision-making and ensure follow-up on decided actions.

Resource and Risk Management

• Plan and coordinate internal and external resources assigned to the project.
• Identify, analyze, and monitor project risks, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Implement necessary action plans to limit impacts on the project.
• Manage change requests and assess their impact on costs, deadlines, and scope.

Supplier and Consultancy Management

• Participate in defining needs for external services.
• Ensure operational follow-up of suppliers and consultants.
• Control the quality of deliverables and validate completed services.
• Ensure compliance with contractual commitments.

Steering and Reporting

• Monitor key project indicators (schedule, budget, quality, risks, benefits).
• Prepare reports for sponsors and management.
• Ensure budgetary follow-up and propose necessary trade-offs.
• Guarantee project documentation is up to date and decisions are traceable.

Methodologies and Continuous Improvement

• Apply the project management methodologies and processes in force within i-CITY.
• Contribute to lessons learned and the continuous improvement of project management practices.
• Share best practices with other Project Managers.

Full time with a minimum of 2 days onsite presence in Brussels.
