💼 Your Role

As a Release Manager, these are the main tasks that you'll be responsible for:

  • Plan and coordinate release schedules across multiple development teams and product lines
  • Manage release pipelines, deployment automation, and environment coordination
  • Facilitate communication between development, QA, operations, and business stakeholders
  • Oversee quality gates, testing phases, and release readiness assessments
  • Coordinate rollback procedures and incident response during deployment issues
  • Maintain release documentation, process improvements, and lessons learned
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
  • Analyze release metrics and continuously improve delivery processes
  • Assist in implementing software version control processes, policies and procedures
  • Release preparation: schedule, align scope, people involved
  • Develop rollback criteria and plans for rolling back a deployment
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
  • Communicate checkpoints for releases during sprints: increment cut off, begin and complete testing
  • Resolve and escalate impediments, manage risk, assure value delivery, and drive program-level continuous improvement
  • Ensure ongoing commitment to the customer experience through performance testing and monitoring

🛠️ What You'll Bring

✅ Technical Skills:

  • Great understanding of SDLC
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools
  • Release orchestration tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, AWS/Azure DevOps)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Experience with issue tracking (Jira or similar)
  • Strong cross-team communication and coordination skills
  • Experience with testing, quality gates, and performance monitoring
  • Familiarity with incident management and rollback procedures
  • Governance, documentation, and compliance awareness
  • Agile methodology experience and the ability to manage risks and dependencies

🗣️ Languages:

  • Excellent knowledge of English - Level C1 in understanding, speaking and writing
