We are looking for an external specialist with in-depth expertise in ServiceNow ITOM, and in particular demonstrable experience in the implementation and management of a Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

The assignment has an initial duration of two months, with the possibility of extension. In this phase, the focus is on strengthening and structuring our CMDB operations, both technically and in terms of processes.

The external specialist will, on the one hand, provide support in the correct, complete, and high-quality registration of our assets in the CMDB, in accordance with applicable standards and best practices. On the other hand, the role includes facilitating and strengthening CMDB management within the SDM community.

To ensure the sustainability of this operation, a train-the-trainer approach will be used. The external specialist will actively transfer knowledge and skills to internal employees, so that the management of the CMDB can continue autonomously, consistently, and with broad support in the long term.

With this assignment, we aim not only for an operational improvement in the short term, but above all for structural knowledge development and sustainable embedding of CMDB management within the organization.

Requirements

• Higher education (Master’s or Bachelor’s degree) with a technical/engineering background or equivalent through experience with the ICT technology for which expertise is required.
• Demonstrable experience with the technology in question or a similar technology.
• Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR - level C2.

Context / Requirements

• The duration of the assignment can be extended by mutual agreement in periods of 12 months, within the limits of the framework agreement of the Facility Company.
• Price adjustments are not allowed, except for indexation during the assignment, which is permitted after each period of 12 consecutive months.
• Termination by the service provider: the contractor may terminate the agreement at any time by registered letter and with one (1) month's notice.
• Termination by AG Digipolis Antwerp: AG Digipolis Antwerp may terminate the agreement at any time by registered letter and with one (1) month's notice.
