SAP FICO Domain Lead

Location: Namur

Languages: French and English required

Remote work: Minimum 2 days on site

Long-term mission: part-time: 3 days per week

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Domain Lead, with strong functional expertise in the SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. You will be responsible for functional governance of the FICO domain, project coordination, and supporting functional teams. This role combines functional leadership, project management, and business expertise, with the objective of ensuring deliverable quality, process consistency, and alignment with business needs.

Main Responsibilities

SAP FICO Functional Leadership

• Lead the FICO functional domain in SAP projects (S/4HANA or ECC).

• Supervise and support FICO functional consultants.

• Ensure consistency of financial and controlling processes in the SAP system.

• Define and enforce functional best practices and group standards.

Project Management and Coordination

• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to define requirements and solutions.

• Participate in planning, monitoring, and delivery of FICO projects.

• Prioritize requests and manage functional changes.

• Act as main coordinator with business management.

Support and Continuous Improvement

• Analyze business needs and propose suitable SAP solutions.

• Identify areas for improvement in financial and controlling processes.

• Maintain functional watch on SAP FICO developments (S/4HANA, Central Finance, Group Reporting, etc.).

Integration and Cross-Domain Collaboration

• Work closely with other Domain Leads (MM, SD, PM, etc.) to ensure process integration.

• Participate in the governance of functional interfaces.

Desired Profile

Education

• University degree in finance, management, IT, or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of experience on SAP FICO, including several years as a functional reference or lead.

Functional Skills

• Proficient in FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO (CCA, PCA, IO, PA).

• Good knowledge of integrations with MM, SD, PS, PM.

• Experience with S/4HANA, Central Finance, or Group Reporting is a plus.

• Ability to write functional specifications and validate developments.
