Mission Description

You will work within the Business Solutions department and report to the Manager Build & Transform. The main mission of the department is to guarantee internal performance by providing high-quality IT solutions. We develop, operate, and maintain a range of internal IT solutions such as the SAP suite, as well as document management solutions like SharePoint, Documentum, or OpenText, case management solutions, the intranet, as well as the STIB mobile application and website. We propose and develop a strategic vision for the digital evolution of STIB's internal performance.

You will join the Build & Transform team, responsible for the analysis, preparation, and execution of the department's projects.

Context & Objective:

As part of the Turbo project, you will address the obsolescence of BSP HR applications by modernizing the front-end to SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 applications, aligned with SAP UX standards and integrated with the HR backend via SAP Gateway / OData.

Mission

Design, develop, and deploy Fiori/UI5 applications replacing BSP HR, while ensuring quality, performance, security, and maintainability, as well as integration into the Fiori Launchpad.

Main Responsibilities

• Analysis & scoping
• Analyze the existing BSPs (functional, user journey, dependencies, data, roles).

• Propose a replacement roadmap: Fiori elements vs freestyle UI5, reuse of HR standards (if applicable), MVP breakdown.

• UX Design & Architecture

• Apply SAP UX Design patterns and produce mockups/prototypes if necessary.

• Define the target architecture.

• Front-end Development

• Develop SAPUI5 / Fiori apps.

• Industrialize: best practices, automated tests, release/transport strategy.

• Backend Development & Integration

• Design/adjust OData services (SAP Gateway) and necessary ABAP developments.

• Create/adjust CDS views to expose HR data.

• Fiori Launchpad / Security

• Configure catalogs / spaces / pages / tiles / target mappings, roles, UME according to landscape.

• Ensure security compliance and traceability.

• Run & support

• Support for testing (SIT/UAT), fixes, performance troubleshooting, hypercare go-live.
• Technical documentation & knowledge transfer.

The mission may be extended for a maximum duration (initial duration included) of: 880 working days.
