SAP Functional Project Manager

Job Title: Senior SAP Project Manager

Location: Namur
Languages: French and English required
Remote Work: 2 days per week
Long-term Assignment: full time

Position Summary:

The ERP department manages the development and maintenance of SAP for the entire TEC. It is part of the IT management and is structured in two parts: run (corrective and evolutionary maintenance) and build for projects.

The mission of the functional project manager will consist of:

  • Participating in and assisting with the definition of the scope, schedule, and budget of the projects under their responsibility
  • Ensuring end-to-end management of projects, from partner selection to the transition to run mode, which will include, among other things:
  • Organizing and leading meetings, including steering committees
  • Monitoring project activities and deliverables
  • Managing internal and external project communication with internal stakeholders
  • Organizing and coordinating change management
  • Communicating with the IT functional analyst, the business, and any external providers

Profile:

  • You have at least ten years of experience in functional SAP project management
  • You have expertise in the following areas: primarily Logistics (MM) with a good knowledge of Finance (FI), Controlling (CO)
  • You can manage a project independently
  • You position yourself in a support role to help the business structure itself, define its needs, and document them
  • You propose a project strategy by defining its scope, schedule, sourcing strategy, and budget
  • You have perfect command of French, both spoken and written
