Job Title: Senior SAP HR Consultant, Functional Analyst
Location: Namur
Languages: French and English required
Remote Work: Full-time with the possibility of remote work two days per week
Position Summary:
We are looking for a SAP HR Consultant responsible for implementing the digitalization of business solutions.
Working closely with the HR business teams (soft and hard), they will help define, scope, and phase the organization’s needs, analyze HR processes, and provide tailored solutions within the SAP HR system. The senior SAP HR consultant will therefore have an in-depth knowledge of business processes as well as senior-level SAP HR experience.
They will also work closely with IT analysts and technical teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the implementation, support, and optimization of SAP HR processes.
He/she will work on the following areas:
- Identification and implementation of quick-wins in SAP HR to reduce repetitive and manual tasks in HR processes;
- Harmonization, optimization, and implementation of HR processes in the SAP tool;
- In collaboration with the project manager, implementation of changes requiring project governance;
- Supporting the business in the S4H pre-study phase;

Responsibilities:
Requirements Analysis:
- Gather, understand, and analyze business requirements at the HR process level in alignment with the SAP HR digital solutions that cover these processes (PA, Payroll, Time Management, etc.)
Configuration and Customization:
- Configure the SAP HR module according to business needs;
- Provide daily functional support for the SAP HR system, resolve incidents, identify malfunctions, and implement the necessary corrections;
- Perform functional and integration tests, draft test scenarios, and ensure the quality of delivered solutions;
- Support the business in defining use cases and test scenarios;
- Ensure documentation is up to date: requirements, functional and technical specifications.
Support and Maintenance:
- Provide post-implementation support, resolve issues, and ensure the proper functioning of the SAP HR system;
- Propose and implement continuous improvements to optimize existing processes.
Training and Knowledge Transfer:
- Train end-users and internal SAP HR teams on new SAP processes and functionalities;
- Document and share best practices and lessons learned.
Profile Sought:
Education: University degree in IT, management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent by experience
Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience as a SAP HR consultant, with proven experience in implementation and projects.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in SAP HR;
- Good knowledge of SAP HR integration with the SAP FICO module;
- Data analysis skills and use of SAP tools for reporting;
- Risk analysis and management in HR processes and their digitalization in SAP HR;
- In-depth knowledge of HR business processes (soft and hard).
