SAP PM Functional analyst

Job Title: Senior SAP PM Consultant (Plant Maintenance)
Location: Namur
Languages: French and English mandatory
Remote work: 2 days per week
Long-term assignment: Full time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has in-depth expertise in the implementation, support, and optimization of equipment maintenance processes in SAP. He/she will play a key role in improving maintenance business processes, ensuring the reliability of interventions, and digitalizing maintenance workflows.

The assignments include:

  • Incident management to ensure the sustainability of business activities
  • Project to harmonize and optimize maintenance processes
  • Implementation or evolution of maintenance plans and notifications
  • Participation in digital transformation projects (S/4HANA, mobility, IoT…)

Responsibilities:

Needs Analysis:

  • Work closely with business users and project teams to analyze existing maintenance processes.
  • Identify areas for optimization and translate functional requirements into SAP PM solutions.

Configuration and Customization:

  • Configure SAP PM objects (plans, orders, equipment, technical sheets, etc.).
  • Adapt PM flows according to the specificities of operational sites.
  • Keep functional documentation up to date.

Support and Maintenance:

  • Provide support on the SAP PM module.
  • Diagnose and resolve incidents, in collaboration with technical teams if necessary.
  • Implement continuous improvement actions.

Training and Knowledge Transfer:

  • Train key users in SAP PM best practices.
  • Participate in documentation capitalization and experience sharing with other functional domains.

Profile Sought:

Education: University degree in engineering, industrial IT, or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience on SAP PM, with at least one full implementation cycle or significant evolution.

Technical Skills:

  • Mastery of the SAP PM module, including: maintenance order management, notifications, equipment, functional structures, maintenance plans, indicators.
  • Useful knowledge in related domains (MM, FI, CO, QM).
  • Experience on S/4HANA or migration project is a plus.

Personal Skills:

  • Excellent communication, teaching skills, and service-oriented attitude.
  • Autonomy, rigor, and ability to structure needs.
  • Proactivity in seeking simple and effective solutions.
