Job Title: SAP Technical / Senior Developer

Location: Namur

Remote Work: min. 3 days on site

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Senior Developer, with strong ABAP development skills and deep technical expertise. You will contribute actively to incidents, change requests, and the company’s SAP projects. This role is focused exclusively on technical aspects, with the objective of ensuring quality, efficiency, improved governance, the application of best practices, and the success of technical deliverables.

Main Responsibilities:

SAP Technical Development:

• Actively participate in the design, development, and maintenance of SAP solutions.
• Work on key modules such as ABAP, S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5, or other associated SAP solutions.
• Ensure that developments comply with SAP best practices and standards.

Integration Management and Interface Maintenance:

• Ensure the integration of SAP solutions with other company systems and maintain existing interfaces.

Project Support:

• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business needs and translate these requirements into technical solutions.
• Report workload forecasts to ensure deadlines are met.

Support and Continuous Improvement:

• Identify and resolve technical issues, while proposing improvements to optimize SAP system performance.
• Evolve and optimize technical solutions, especially regarding interfaces via BTP, job management, transport governance, etc.
• Maintain technology watch to anticipate SAP solution evolutions and integrate them into future projects.

Desired Profile:

Education: University degree in computer science, management, engineering or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of 7 years in SAP development.

Technical Skills:

• Mastery of SAP ABAP technologies, Fiori front-end and back-end, OPD, UI5, OData, CDS Views, Gateway services, webservices, cloud connector, document management, printer management, and other related tools.
• Knowledge of main BC activities.
• Good understanding of SAP business processes and integrations with other systems.
• Basic knowledge of SAP modules (such as MM, SD, FI, CO, PM) for effective collaboration with functional teams.
• Data analysis skills and use of SAP tools for reporting.
