Position Context:

As part of the development of the UHMEP (Unaddressed Health Message Exchange Platform), we are looking for an experienced software architect. This platform is being developed in a demanding eHealth environment, with significant challenges in reliability, scalability, and software quality.

You will join a motivated and rapidly growing team to actively participate in defining the architecture, providing technical leadership, and upskilling developers.

Technical Stack:

Must have:

• Backend: SpringBoot, Java 17+
• Frontend: Angular v18+
• Database: PostgreSQL
• Architecture: Hexagonal (Ports & Adapters), Domain Driven Design (DDD)

Should have:

• Modeling with Archimate or any other recognized architecture language

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of WebComponents, even theoretical

Soft skills & responsibilities:

• Architecture & design: Design and evolve the software architecture of the platform
• Technical coaching: Support developers in their technical choices and help them upskill
• Quality & pragmatism: Find the right balance between robustness, simplicity, and maintainability
• Collaboration: Participate in discussions with stakeholders to ensure alignment between field requirements and technical choices

Desired Profile:

Proven experience in Java / SpringBoot systems architecture

Mastery of Hexagonal Architecture concepts and Domain Driven Design

• Comfortable with technical leadership and team coaching
• Ability to model a software architecture (Archimate or equivalent)
• Interest in or experience with WebComponents (a plus)
