The existing Oracle BI Datawarehouse is outdated. A new data integration architecture has been designed, which will be further implemented in 2026 in Microsoft SQL Server (on premise). At a later stage, the migration from Microsoft SQL Server to Microsoft Fabric will be carried out. The RSVZ is looking for a team lead, who will guide and manage the BI team in the development towards this new architecture.

The specific tasks for the BI architect are:

• Guiding and managing the BI team of 9 members and the complete migration (SQL Server/Cloud).
• Implementing the new architecture, which consolidates data from various sources.
• Developing the ETL-Code with SQL Server Integration Services.
• Developing reports and dashboards in Power BI based on the existing functionality in Oracle BI with attention to data quality and data lineage.
• Further developing and managing the data catalog.
• Transformation of the Data Vault model to a more business-oriented Kimball model.
• Implementing security and access control measures on the data sources.
• Documenting processes around version control, release, and deployment.
• Translating business requirements into technical BI solutions.
• Supporting the team and the business departments in using the new tools (Selfservice BI).
• Drafting guidelines, documentation, and BI development standards.
• Designing and implementing datamarts and OLAP cubes with SQL Server Analysis Services.
• Organizing knowledge transfer within the team.

Experience in the role of BI architect:

• Guiding and coaching the team in the use of the new technology and environment.
• Developing and implementing a BI solution in Microsoft on premise & cloud technology.
• Experience in transforming a Data Vault model to star schemas.
• Experience in developing and implementing Power BI reports and dashboards.

Language skills: One of the two national languages is the mother tongue. For the other national language, reading and understanding is sufficient.
