In order to strengthen its team, ONEM is looking for a Senior Cobol Developer. You will be responsible for the maintenance of existing applications and will also be in charge of developing new applications. In consultation with your colleagues, you are responsible for converting a functional analysis into technical specifications as well as developing applications in Cobol. You are also responsible for carrying out unit and integration tests for the developed applications. You support clients with validation testing and write documentation for the developments carried out. You communicate with the client about the execution and implementation of the requested development. Finally, you share your knowledge, experience, and documentation with other team members.

Holding a degree in computer science, you have at least 30 years of experience in the IT field. You have excellent knowledge of Cobol and SQL and are familiar with relational databases (SQL Server). As part of supporting less experienced colleagues, your proven experience as an IT trainer (at least 10 years) is an essential asset. Finally, when collaborating with the Java teams, you have very good knowledge of Java, Spring, Python among others, as well as technologies such as Git, Maven, Ansible, Docker & Kubernetes.
