We are looking for an experienced COBOL Developer to join our team in maintaining, optimizing, and modernizing our legacy systems.

As an application developer, you will be part of a dynamic Agile team.

You will work on business-critical applications within a complex IT environment, in collaboration with other developers, analysts, and project managers.

Profile

• At least 5 years of experience with COBOL
• Developing, testing, and maintaining applications written in COBOL (both batch and online)
• Strong analytical skills, independent, and solution-oriented
• Collaborating with functional analysts and end users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshooting and resolving incidents in production environments.
• Documenting technical designs and changes.

Competencies

• Experience with mainframe environments (CICS, JCL, DB2)
• Familiarity with tools such as IDZ and VSAM.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and/or English
• Strong analytical skills, independent, and solution-oriented.
