We are looking for a NL senior developer able to work on multiple applications for the Flemish Agencies for Healthcare & Social Protection.

Not only do we expect from the applicant that he demonstrates high level of technical skills (cf. IT skills list) but also a proven experience in technical design & mentoring, code reviews, …

This following skills are also required:

• Able to function in an independent way, but in line with team objectives
• Self-starter
• Excellent communicator: Ability to simplify at a conceptual level without ignoring the underlying technical complexity, to communicate in a clear and informative manner at all levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch. Good in English/French

• Client-focused: Understands the business and IT side of requirements and problems and responds effectively to them.

We are looking for a Dutch-speaking person, and, able to apply best practices and use their experience to ensure proper project delivery.

Project informatie

Within Smals, you will join the group that provides services to Flemish Social Protection (VSB). One of the applications is eZBO where people can apply for a care budget for elderly people in need of care. This is a budget for 65’+ers with limited income and health problems.

Experience

This person should have at least 7 years’ experience in Java development. Have knowledge and understanding of a Service Oriented Architecture and have knowledge of the following:
