Role

The functional analyst is responsible for analyzing the business processes of the RIZIV. He or she is involved in the initial phases of the project and ensures a detailed description of the current and future state of the process. He or she leads workshops, organizes, and manages the meetings necessary to gather information and to prepare the deliverables needed to define the project, in accordance with the standards and methodology of the RIZIV.

Responsibilities

• Organizing meetings and workshops to understand and map out the business processes of the RIZIV;
• Preparing documents needed to define the process, so that they can be directly used by the analysts to implement the solution;
• Ensuring throughout the project that the implemented solution matches the solution described in consultation with the Business.

• Conceptualization: translating abstract and general reasoning and concepts into practical solutions;
• Analyzing information: purposefully analyzing data and critically assessing information;
• Ability to understand cross-functional aspects: looking beyond the boundaries of different departments/divisions and assessing the impact of decisions on other areas of the organization.

Work Experience

• You have experience with analyzing data flows between insurance institutions and the RIZIV, related to one or more benefits/disability processes (mutual sector), with the aim of streamlining the data flows (only once principle) and improving the quality of the data.
• You have a good knowledge of insurance institutions and the RIZIV.
• You have professional experience in functional analysis for insurance institutions and the RIZIV.
