Information on the Management (DRI)

The Directorate of Police Information and ICT (DRI) is responsible for the management of police information and ICT resources.

As such, our directorate is notably in charge of preparing the policy and management and processing rules for information, developing the police information concept, defining technical standards and norms, and implementing information and communication systems.

Main Missions

Steering the mainframe decommissioning project:

• Assess the existing situation and define the migration steps.
• Set up a roadmap and monitor milestones.
• Coordinate internal teams and service providers.
• Manage risks and ensure service continuity.

Migration and modernization of databases:

• Lead the migration of databases from legacy systems to PostgreSQL.

Collaboration with an external service provider:

• Supervise and ensure the proper execution of external services.
• Define SLAs, monitor KPIs, and guarantee the quality of deliverables.
• Maintain effective communication between internal and external teams.

Use of AI tools for code modernization:

• Implement AI solutions for translating legacy code to modern code.
• Ensure compliance with current development standards.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in managing complex infrastructure projects.
• In-depth knowledge of mainframe systems and migration strategies.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL, including administration and optimization.
• Experience in IT vendor management and contract monitoring.
• Understanding of AI tools applied to code modernization.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Desired Profile

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in managing complex IT projects.
• Experience in mainframe decommissioning and database migration.
• Interest in new technologies and AI applied to development.
