Genesis Consult is looking for a Senior Java Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain hybrid integration solutions based on Java, Apache ServiceMix/Camel, and Microsoft Azure Integration Services.

Senior Java Integration Engineer – ESB, APIs & Azure

📍 Location: Charleroi
🏠 Remote work: 2 days
📄 Contract: Permanent / Freelance
📅 Start: As soon as possible (depending on your notice period)

You will work on new projects as well as the evolution and production support of the ESB platforms, API Gateway, and inter-application flows.

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test integration components and Java backends;
• Further develop the ESB and API Gateway platforms;
• Define interfaces between applications and ensure reliability of exchanges;
• Configure and monitor Azure API Management and Azure Service Bus;
• Analyze and resolve production incidents;
• Supervise the performance and availability of flows;
• Implement automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines;
• Produce technical documentation and operational procedures;
• Collaborate with architects, developers, project managers, and infrastructure teams.

Your profile

You have solid experience in Java development and integration of complex systems.

• Java, Java EE, Spring, and Spring Boot;
• Apache ServiceMix, Camel, ActiveMQ, Karaf, CXF, or OSGi;
• REST, SOAP, JMS, JSON, XML, XSD, and OpenAPI;
• Azure API Management and Azure Service Bus;
• Maven, Git, Azure DevOps, and automated testing;
• Linux, scripting, and log analysis;
• Distributed architectures, microservices, and containers.

Experience in high availability, API security, JPA/Hibernate, SQL Server, Azure Blob Storage, or Kubernetes is an asset.
