Program Manager - Senior

• Manage one or multiple major projects (concept, follow-up, implementation, evaluation, etc.) within different domains whose activities impact the entire organisation and clients within its scope. Scope range, timing, budget, and quality are managed in accordance with internal and external processes of the company.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities

• Build a program management roadmap consisting of several projects
• Ensure well-executed people management within different teams
• Define timeline and milestones of the projects
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to the team members within different project groups
• Manage risks and issues related to the delivery
• Clarify high-level scope and the technical synergies between the different sub-projects
• Ensure compliance with standards and best practices across all projects
• Manage a team of internal staff and/or external contractors
• Be proactive in proposing technical solutions and innovations
• Report progress, issues, risks, etc. to the customer and to the program manager
• Install a process of "project review" to ensure continuous qualitative delivery based on “lessons learned”
• Self-investment and participation in the creation of a “learning school” of the applied knowledge and tools used in the processes within different domains

Secondary Tasks and responsibilities

• Promote project management activities through positive and constructive networks
• Deploy and develop active and consistent communication with different stakeholders
• Manage conflicts (technical and non-technical)
• Facilitate the operational functionality of the project groups and other stakeholders
• Help define the roles and responsibilities of the project teams and other stakeholders
• Follow-up on possible changes and deliverables-related feedback from the customer on a continuous basis

Methodology/Certification requirements

• Master Degree in Computer Science OR equivalent through experience
• 10+ years experience in portfolio management and program/project management in the IT sector
• Very good knowledge of Planview, MS Project, or equivalent
• Very good knowledge of enterprise governance tools
• Certified ITIL + practitioner of ITIL method with minimum 5 years hands-on practice
• Certified SAFE consultant
• IBM oriented and Agile minded
• Certified PRINCE2, PMI, or equivalent

Language proficiencies

• French and Dutch
• Good notion of English
