PROJECT MANAGER

We are looking for a Senior IT Project manager within the program and project management department who manages one or more projects.

The IT Project manager will manage different types of projects within an infrastructure environment (Developing API's for different projects…) and will ensure successful delivery within scope, timeline & budget. The IT Project Manager will mainly interact with internal teams & departments and requires both PM skills and a technical background.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities

• Prepare the project plan for the assigned project(s).
• Ensuring that the project's delivery is made according to the schedule, budget, scope and quality.
• Ensure Governance and Prepare the Steerco with the relevant stakeholders.
• Define timeline and milestones of the project.
• Managing the risks and issues related to the delivery.
• Clarifying high-level scope and the technical synergies between the different sub-projects.
• Ensuring the compliance to standards and best practices across all projects.
• Managing a team of internal staff and/or external contractors.
• Be proactive in proposing technical solutions and innovations.
• Prepare reporting progress, issues, risks etc. to the customer and to the program manager and/or the relevant stakeholders.

Secondary Tasks and responsibilities

• Promote project management activities through positive and constructive networks.
• Deploy and develop an active and consistent communication with different stakeholders.
• Conflict management (tech and non-tech).
• Facilitate the operational functionality of the project groups and other stakeholders.
• Define the roles and responsibilities of the project teams and other stakeholders.
• Follow-up on possible change and deliverables related feedback from the customer on a continuous basis.
• People management & team coaching & training.

Technical profile requirements

• Master Degree in Computer Science OR equivalent through experience.
• 5+ years experience in Project Management in the IT Sector (in application development).
• Good knowledge of IT Infrastructure & Development environments.
• Agile minded.
• Certified PRINCE2, PMI, or equal by experience.
