Mission Description

Context
You will join the Business Solutions department and report to the Manager Build & Transform.
As part of the Horizon Program, STIB is undertaking a strategic transformation aimed at modernizing and replacing a legacy application ecosystem (SAP Portal, BSP/JSP technologies, historical interfaces), while ensuring the continuity of critical HR and Operations processes.
The objective of the program is to secure the company’s key capabilities (operational planning, digital workplace for drivers, time and payroll management, system integration) and to manage the gradual phase-out of end-of-life solutions.
You will join the Build & Transform team, responsible for the analysis, preparation, and execution of the department’s structuring projects.

Your Role
As a Project Manager within the Horizon Program, you will lead one or more cross-functional transformation streams with high business impact.
You are responsible for:

• Scoping & Structuring
• Initiating projects and work packages in a context of global transformation
• Defining the functional, non-functional, architectural, and budgetary scope
• Building the schedule and capacity planning in coordination with internal teams and external partners

• Ensuring alignment with the other program initiatives

• Coordination & Governance

• Managing interactions with Business teams (HR, Operations), IT (Transport Solutions, architecture, infrastructure, security, AMS) and external vendors
• Ensuring inter-project consistency and dependency management
• Preparing governance documents (Gate reviews, change requests, budgets)

• Guaranteeing the quality of reporting to stakeholders and management

• Execution & Delivery

• Coordinating the phases of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and training
• Overseeing the preparation of RUN in collaboration with the Service Delivery Managers
• Ensuring risk management, arbitration, and prioritization
• Being a driving force in mobilizing project teams

Profile Sought

• Proven experience in managing complex and cross-functional IT projects (SAP / Hastus / integration / digital transformation)
• Experience in a multi-stakeholder environment (Business & IT)
• Ability to manage projects in a modernization or migration context
• Good understanding of application integration challenges
• Excellent skills in communication, structuring, and decision-making

Experience in SAP and/or Hastus environments or in legacy modernization programs is a major asset.

Language Skills

• French or Dutch: excellent
• Second language French or Dutch: good
• English: good

Additional Information:
The mission may be extended for a maximum duration (including the initial period) of: 880 working days. The Project Manager must ensure a “maximum” presence on-site to facilitate business/IT liaison.
