Who are we?

Fednot is the Federation of Belgian Notaries. Our mission is to support over 1,100 notary offices and approximately 8,000 notary employees with legal expertise, management advice, IT solutions, training, and information for the general public. As a division of Fednot, the ICT service unit develops innovative solutions that support notaries in their digital transformation journey and improve the overall user experience for notaries and their customers. We develop and deliver software that cover all notary domains (real estate, enterprise, family, etc.) and are based on state-of-the-art technologies.

We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager

Full-time, hybrid telework + office in Brussels

Your role

As an experienced and motivated IT Project Manager, you’ll lead a large scale server migration project. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects. You will work closely with internal teams (Service Desk, Infra, Platform, Development, Governance, Finance, Marketing, etc.), external partners (Nutanix and a major infrastructure integrator), ensuring the project stays within the set deadlines and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage IT projects according to agreed objectives;
• Oversee the implementation of IT processes and ensure compliance with project management standards (PMBOK, PRINCE2, or similar methodologies);
• Act as the point of contact for all project-related communication, both internally and externally;
• Collaborate with internal departments and development teams to plan the migrations of their applications. Also understand their needs and translate them into practical solutions;
• Manage project risks and propose timely solutions to any obstacles;
• Steer project teams and ensure smooth collaboration between all parties involved;
• Prepare reports and updates to communicate progress and results to stakeholders.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Management, or a similar field; at least 7 years of experience in IT project management;
• Fluency in French, Dutch, and English;
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach;
• Excellent at planning, organizing, and prioritizing;
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities;
• Thorough knowledge of IT processes and project management methodologies;
• Knowledge of IT networks and IT security solutions;
• Personal Attributes: Proactive, stress-resistant, and result-oriented.
