We are currently looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our growing client in Brussels!

Responsibilities:

• Technical analysis of the current solutions and production of architectural documentation emphasizing the system context, the containers, the components and the code;
• TO-BE proposal for future evolution of the Workflow solution from the architectural point of view (from the Workflow system towards more modern solutions);
• Production of architectural artifacts considering the dependencies with other solutions;
• Definition of gap analysis and migration roadmap from the AS-IS to the TO-BE;
• Creation of PoCs, pilots, advice to developers, technical follow-up of development team;
• Assist the team and the PM with technical advice and evaluation of implications of various options;
• Assist in the drafting of business case (evaluate options - business and technical solutions, pros and cons, analysis of future architectures, etc.);
• Create and maintain project issues in relevant logs, meetings minutes, project artifacts (context diagrams, interaction diagrams, use cases, diagrams, etc.).

Profile & technical skills:

• 10+ years of professional experience;
• Master Degree in Computer Sciences;
• Knowledge of SpringBoot, Kubernetes and relational databases;
• Familiarity with workflow engines like Flowable or Camunda, Activity;
• Experience with architectural documentation tools such as Visio and Draw.io and frameworks like C4 and Arc42;
• Knowledge of Confluence/JIRA/SQL Developer, PowerPoint, MS Office;
• Experience in creating architectural diagrams;
• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, GraphQL, REST APIs, OpenID Connect and Enterprise Integration Patterns is highly desired;
• Fluency in English.
